The KIETS Climate Leaders Program runs from January 1 through December 31 of the same year. This is the timeline of major events for the 2026 cohort of Scholars and Faculty Mentors.

• September 9, 2026 – Request for Application posted
• October 25, 2026 – Applications due by 11:59 pm EST
• December 9, 2025 – 2026 Cohort announced
• January – December, 2027 – Monthly meetings (~ 2 hrs in-person in the evening once a month, including virtual in June and July, date/time TBD)
• January 9, 2027 – 2027 Cohort Kick-off Day (immersive all day meeting)
• May 10 -13, 2027 – Climate Leadership Academy Intensive Program
• Fall, 2027 – Climate Leadership Symposium (tentatively October 6-7, 2027)
