Internship Hosts

Our Climate Leaders Program Scholars each participate in a three to six month internship that offers them the opportunity to work and contribute to high-impact projects that help climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts.

Internships may be inside or outside the United States and may include businesses or industries, academic institutions, non-profits, community organizations and local, state or federal government agencies.

Activities for these internships might include efforts to save reefs and ocean fisheries, mitigate flooding, improve water supplies, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce global energy use, introduce alternative power sources, improve food supplies, and improve the general health and wellbeing of individuals affected by climate change.

Meet Some of Our Internship Partners

We greatly appreciate everyone who has partnered with us to provide invaluable professional development opportunities for our Climate Leaders Program scholars.

If you are a business, organization, agency, etc. that is interested in partnering with us to host our Scholars as interns, contact Amanda Mueller (ammuell2@ncsu.edu or 919.515.4265).
