Symposium Location and Logistics

Symposium Venue: James B. Hunt Library. 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27606

All symposium events will take place in the Hunt Library (1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27606), either in the Auditorium (1st Floor) or Duke Energy Hall (2nd Floor).

The KIETS Climate Leaders Program Fall Symposium, Think and Do: Climate Challenges and Solutions, is open to everyone interested in learning more about research and innovation addressing climate challenges and seeking viable solutions. The one and a half day symposium will highlight the work being done by the Climate Leaders Program students and mentors, North Carolina State University Faculty and external experts.

Thanks to wonderful financial support from the North Carolina State University Sustainability Fund and the Eastman University Engagement Fund, there is no cost to attend the symposium, present a poster, display at the Innovation showcase or introduce your NC State College, Department, Program, Center, Initiative, Lab, etc. To ensure responsible use of funds, notify Amanda Mueller (ammuell2@ncsu.edu) of any cancellations as soon as possible, but no later than September 26, 2022.

Hotel

A block of rooms is reserved at the StateView Hotel on NC State’s campus for $169 per night. You may reserve a room at the StateView using the block NC State KIETS Group here. To guarantee this rate, StateView rooms need to be booked by September 16, 2022.
